A couple of weeks ago, our new 12th graders came up to our Sunday School class. We were all so excited to be getting this new class and excited to see what God has in store for all of us this year. We had 17 students for our kickoff Sunday School - WOW!! That evening we had our first event at Randy and Julie's house. Since the Olympics were going on we thought what a great idea to incorporate. The kids were asked to wear red, white & blue and they were going out in groups to see which group could bring back the most new faces - everyone loves a contest right?
An hour later, here's what we had.
Thankfully the bad storm held off and the kids were able to swim in the pond. We even had some swimming relays with the boys. They seemed to have so much fun.
It is definitely going to be a fun year with lots of events going on. I hope they (and we) are ready.
