Corn Maize times 2

Since Brody had a field trip to the corn maize, I thought Trevor would really enjoy it and I had already bought 2 passes for half price.  Stephanie and I decided to take Trevor and Ava to enjoy the maize so we took off out there on a Friday.  They were so excited to be able to spend the day together.

We arrived a little after 10, which was perfect because they said a bunch of kids were going to be there soon with their field trip so we were ok for a few minutes.  Trevor and Ava loved these little things located all over the place.

We drove a tractor

A sheep

A pig

He and Ava became flowers and a gardener.

Sweet friends at the pumpkin patch.  Ava was so cute in her Fall/Halloween clothes and Trevor not so much.  I couldn't find anything real cute for him to wear that day, oh well.

Time for the petting zoo.

Of course Trevor wasn't scared at all.  He went right up to the animals except while he was trying to pet the goats, there was a turkey off to his right that gobbled at him pretty loudly and Trevor didn't want anything to do with that turkey.

A boy's dream - a huge bale of hay to climb on.

Now we are a farmer

The kids were excited to go in the corn maize so off we went to find our way thru it.

Of course with 2 mom's who love to take pictures they had to pose for pictures.

Isn't this the cutest thing ever.

So I am 0 for 2 in getting out of this corn maize.  We didn't do well on this trip either so here we are cutting through the corn just to get to the path that takes us out.

A pool full of corn.  These 2 loved it and of course Trevor filled his pockets with lots of corn but thankfully I saw it and was able to empty "most" of it out.

Making corn angels.

Off to the big slide

A trip isn't complete without a ride on the cow train.

In the middle of Connor's is a play area for 4 and under.  Thankfully there wasn't anyone there so Trevor and Ava must have played in this area for about an hour.  They had a blast and Stephanie and I enjoyed just sitting and chatting.

Trevor took a long nap when we got home and when he woke up what a surprise I had - 6 kernels of corn in his bed.  After washing his clothes, I found a few in the washing machine.  That stuff was everywhere but they had a blast and it was nice for Trevor to have someone to play with.
