My crazy week in April/May

The last week of April - first week of May is one of my busiest weeks ever.  This is the week we put together a banquet for our Seniors and we take them off to the beach for a long weekend.  We had the banquet at Laytn's Land N in Yulee on a Tuesday night with Olive Garden as the caterer and one of the mom's offered to make the desserts.  Aren't they the cutest little things.

It was one of the sweetest things to see all of our seniors gathered in a circle and one of their parents praying over them.

What a fun group of kids.  We have had such a great year and we pray that they will allow God to direct them in what He has in store for them.

We took 13 12th graders to a huge house in St. Augustine.  This is the downstairs where the guys hung out.

The upstairs was used for lots of games.

Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate again this year - NO SUN!!!  At least this year there wasn't as much rain as last year, so the guys were able to go out and play a little football.

This house had a pool which got a lot of use.  The guys played a "friendly" game of keep away.

A view from the upstairs.

While keep away was going on in the pool, a few decided to watch Frozen.

Our cook for one night.

We also celebrated Julie's birthday while we were down there.

A few of the girls decided to have their cake while taking it easy in their jacuzzi tub.

Last summer Jason and I saw a group of students playing this new game called Spikeball.  Jason was very intrigued and thought it would be a good game to play with our students.

Although the weather wasn't very sunny we were still able to do our annual Amazing Race in downtown and most of the kids had fun.  Some weren't very competitive and chose to stop and eat instead of race.
