The Big Game

A couple Friday nights ago Jason and I along with Stephanie and Adam headed to Yulee, a nearby town, for a huge game that was being televised on ESPN U - Yulee High vs Glades Day.   We decided to go without the kids - great choice!!  We knew the game was going to be crowded - they were expecting 5000 - 10000.  I'm not sure how many were there, but when we arrived almost 2 hours before kickoff, we had to sit on the visitor side, which we were fine with because we at least had a seat.

A packed out home side 2 hours before kickoff

Each team had a top running back for our state of Florida.   Yulee's running back was committed to attending Alabama next year and Glades Day Running back, which just happens to be Fred Taylor's son (went to Florida and then the all time leading rusher for the Jags), was committed to Florida for next year.  It was sure to be a good game.

We also were able to see lots of other well known people, however, neither Stephanie nor I brought our good cameras so all we had was our cellphones, which turned out ok, but it sure would have been nice to have better pictures.

The guys in the black shirts in the middle of the picture and the one without the hat is Fred Taylor

Gator Headcoach in the blue shirt - Will Muschamp

Jacksonville Jaguar wide receivers - Mike Brown, Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts

Yulee won the game 42 to 6 so it was a great game!!
