Afternoon on the water

One Sunday afternoon, Adam and Stephanie invited us out to her MeMaw's place on the water - aka Littlefield for a little fishing and hotdogs.  Chris and Lisa joined us with their 2 boys as well.  The weather was perfect - not too hot and not too cold.  Now neither Jason nor I are much of fishing people but it was great to spend with friends just sitting around and chatting.

The kids had a blast running all around, fishing, and having full reign of a house with no furniture so lots of ball playing was done.

Brody enjoyed fishing but wasn't a fan of picking up the bait.

Trevor tried his hand at the fishing thing and did ok - but usually lost interest.

Stephanie isn't usually like this with fish and touches them just fine, but somehow I perfectly caught a great expression of her with Ava's fish.

These 2 are something else - so cute.

Stephanie trying to teach Trevor how to peel the head off the shrimp.  He gradually got used to it.

We sat out on the dock for several hours just chatting and enjoying 2 dolphins playing right in front of the dock.  It was so nice and relaxing!!
