Say goodbye to TBall

Friday, May 13 was Brody's last TBall game.  He had lots of fun during his first season and got so much better at playing.  Now don't get me wrong he still plays in the dirt and talks to EVERYONE on the field.  However, he is hitting the ball much better and rarely needs the tee.  As for the field, he usually plays somewhere around 2nd base or catcher.  He really wanted to play pitcher but we kept telling him he had to pay attention in order to play that position - not quite ready.

Everyone came out to see his last game - PoPo, Nana, Nini and Papa

I think the kids were too excited to even think about playing the game because all they were wanting to do was PARTY!!  Our team party was at the park after the game with pizza, cake, playground and WATER FIGHTS!!

Oh yeah, Trevor thought he was a big boy and climbed up this steep ladder by himself.

 Ready to get the coaches.

Bradyn and Brody - buddies.

It started out with water balloons aimed at the coaches and Brody was definitely on board with that.  However, Coach Ricky decided to bring out the BIG water gun and Brody screamed like a girl and stayed away from Ricky at all costs.

Brody nowhere in sight.

Check out Brody's shirt - one of the few dry ones.

So proud of his trophy and bat.

He had a great time and talked about this party for a long time afterwards.  I wonder if he'll want to play again next year - hmmm...

  1. That looks like so much fun! I love that Brody likes to play in the dirt while playing t-ball. I was always the outfield flower picker when I played t-ball.
