Summer week 8

This was a short week for me with the boys so we definitely kept busy to take advantage of every minute.  On Sunday night, our church rented out the St. Marys Aquatic Center and we had a great turnout.  This was the first time the boys had the freedom to go where they wanted to go since they both know how to swim very well and the park isn't that big.

Trevor and Ava taking it easy in the Lazy River.

Brody with his good friend Carl.  They had made plans that morning in church to meet at a certain spot at the park so they could hang out with one another.

Marshall, Tara and Tate spending some family time together.

The kids took a little break from the water and played a few of the games they have in the center of lazy river.

Since we didn't have our fill of enough water on Sunday night we decided to head to the beach with Tara and her 2 boys on Monday.  Brody was so excited to be able to play with someone besides his brother.

Even Tate got in on the action.

All 3 catching a wave.

I think we stayed about 3 or 4 hours and had the best time.  It was great to have Tara to talk to.  She is such a great friend.  We had both been reading for our devotion the daily devotion that comes from Proverbs 31Ministries.  Well, just that week they came out with an Online Bible Study "Am I Messing Up My Kids" and we decided to sign up for it and do it together.  It has been awesome.

See what a great time they had?

I think someone rubs their eyes too much because Tara is my witness that I put sunscreen on him twice while we were there.

Of course we had to visit the zoo during the summer.

I think this is about the 2nd time we have actually seen the jaguars.  They are always hiding.

The boys love the splash park but they have taken out a lot of the stone animals - probably a safety hazard.  They still loved getting wet.

A new 4D ride - Rio

Mr. Panther up close and personal.

We then headed up to our local VyStar to open the boys up a savings account.  They were pretty excited.

Even received a MOSH ticket for opening up the accounts.
