The last day of school for 2014

Although school wasn't technically out until Friday, May 23 for Brody, we decided to have our last day on Thursday, May 22 for both of them - Friday was a half day and he had a couple of days to spare.

Thankfully we had a few minutes to spare to take pictures.

A little Before and After shots.

Last year I started a little survey for the boys to take when they finish a year of school.  Trevor will start his after his year of Kindergarten.  Here are Brody's answers:

What is your favorite class?
What is the best part of the school day?
Who are your friends?
                           Brantley, Jacob, Connor, Trevor
What is something you learned in science?
What the Great Phinx was made of
What is something you learned in math?
What is something you wrote?
An accident that happened to me
What is your favorite art project?
                           Coloring the dot picture
What is your favorite book to read by yourself?
                           Who was Jackie Robinson?
What is your favorite book that someone read to you?
Big Fat Mouth by Junie B Jones
What is something you learned about God?
When you ask Jesus in your heart
                           you go to heaven.
What food do you like to eat at lunch?
What is your favorite game to play at recess?
What is your favorite activity after school?
                           Swimming in the pool
What do you like about your teacher?
What do you look forward to for summer?

                           Star Wars weekend

I can't believe another school year is over.  It definitely goes by quickly - I need to stop and take a few breaths or they will be graduating before we know it.

No better way to help celebrate kickoff summer than filling up their Roo cups!!

To help kick off our Summer 2014 - a little something was waiting for the boys when they arrived home from school that day.
