We have a ball player on our hands

Last week we started TBall practice and boy do we have one excited little boy on our hands.  He couldn't wait until practice that night.  There are 8 boys and 4 girls on his team.  Of the 8 boys 4 of them start with "Br" - Brody, Bradyn, Brock & Brooks - talk about confusion for the coaches.

Brody did really well with practice.  They were split up into small groups and rotated to different stations - hitting off the tee, hitting from coach pitch, throwing, and stopping the ball.  Of course what was his favorite station - hitting.   We had never practiced with a real ball and bat - only plastic ones so of course Brody could wail those balls.  For his first time hitting he actually hit a few.  He thought he was something else wearing a hat.  Boy can't wait for his reaction when he gets his uniform.

Still not sure how Brody and Bradyn ended up in the same group - TROUBLE!!  They were so cute though waiting for the ball.

They practiced running the bases which was so cute to see these little 4 and 5 year olds running around - some not knowing exactly where to go but still having a blast.

The next best thing about practice was the snack afterwards.  This made Brody's day because he is of course all about the food.

We are in for a fun season.  I'm sure I will have lots of good (and bad) stories - not sure how many bad ones I'll share.
