Coupons, Coupons & more Coupons

I'm not even sure how long I have been a coupon cutter.  I actually can remember back when I was probably about 12 years old on Sunday afternoon's cutting coupons - not really sure why I did it since I wasn't the one buying groceries and I'm not sure my mom was a big coupon user.  But I guess I enjoyed just thinking I was saving money - crazy huh?

Now that I'm married, have kids, and responsible for buying groceries but not spending a fortune, I still cut coupons.  I have been a big fan of Southernsavers which has helped me figure out how to organize my coupons.  Now, I'm not quite one of those people that are on the new reality show - Extreme Couponers.

The key to using coupons is finding a system that actually works for you.  I am now on my 3rd type of system but I think I've finally found the right one for me.  My first was a small pendaflex file but realized it was too small.  Second was the huge binder with individual baseball card holders for each coupon.

This didn't work because I found myself never finding/having time to put the coupons inside the plastic wraps so the book was always a disaster.

My final organizing system is this.

I am absolutely in love with how simple it is to use.  I can throw them in my purse when I go to the store and can even a have a child with me and still use the coupons.

I know this was a weird post but you never know who - if anyone - reading this may want to start using coupons.
