Disney Day 3 - It's an Animal of a Day

We were off to Animal Kingdom for day 3 of our Disney adventure.

The best part of Animal Kingdom is the Lion King show, however, I still wasn't sure how Trevor was going to sit through the show, but we gave it a shot.  We were prepared with EVERY kind of snack imaginable and drinks even though they say no food or drinks allowed - that really must not be for kids, right?

The show actually kept Trevor's attention pretty much the entire time which was a blessing.  At the beginning of the show, Brody was asked to help out which was pretty cool so off he went Mickey ears and all.

Before, the Lion King show we actually made it to main character stops - Mickey, Minnie & Goofy for the Christmas photo opportunity.  Trevor was loving it even though he isn't showing much emotion in the pictures.  I say he was loving it since he didn't cry.

While Trevor took a quick nap, we strolled through and looked at animals and then it was time for the adults - minus Nini to ride Mt Everest.  What a cool ride, but I think I'm getting old because I can't handle them like I used to.

We stopped off at Dino Land for a little play time which is a cool play area for the kids.  Trevor was having a blast going down the little slide on his belly and then he was attempting to go down on his bottom when he got a little out of control and hit his head on the side.  Off we went screaming and ready for another nap.

Isn't he so excited??
He doesn't look so thrilled here.

AK does a really good Christmas parade so we stayed for that and then headed off to Epcot for the evening.

What a beautiful face - who goes to Disney and doesn't partake of Mickey ears ice cream!!!

Jason had a great idea to ride the bus from AK to the Transportation Center and then take the monorail to Epcot.  We figured Brody would love the monorail and we weren't disappointed.  As soon as we got off the monorail and started walking he passed out for about an hour.  We did Talking With Crush (from Nemo), Soarin (I stayed outside with a SCREAMING Trevor who was READY for his bed), and Test Track (Brody even rode this and he loved it).  We finally left Epcot about 10:30 or so and we were done, exhausted, and worn out and ready for our beds!!

Here's a goodnight kiss from Trevor aka "what the fish says"
