Day 2 of our Tampa trip - zoo style

Since Busch Gardens is over 3 hours away, we thought it was best to stay overnight - and it gave us a chance to check out Tampa's zoo. After checking it out online we knew we may be there awhile since they have lots of rides and our kids are loving rides these days.

Thankfully we have season passes to our Jax zoo because this allowed us to supposedly get in for half off - however, the lady made a mistake and let us in for FREE - whoo hoo!! We first checked out the animals because if we went to the rides we might never pull them away. The zoo was great with of course lots of animals to see and the weather being absolutey beautiful.

Of course the kids favorite part was the rides which we bought an arm band to ride all you want for a 1 price - well worth it since their favorite ride was the roller coaster and they rode it about 6 times.
Second in line for favorites were the camel and pony rides. They thought they were something big riding Hank the camel.

Even though Brody has fed the giraffes at our zoo, we had to feed them here as well. I'm so glad we did because the giraffes were SOOOO close. I think one of them was about to lick my ear and I didn't even see it happen - wish I had a picture of that.

This was a great trip and well worth the weekend away. Of course you see no pictures of Trevor which is because he stayed with Nini and Papa since there wasn't much for him to do at Busch Gardens and he "we" would have been miserable. Maybe next year.
