Christmas in TN

Sometime during 2013, Jason's mom decided that her Christmas present to all of us and the kids would be to stay in a cabin in Pigeon Forge and a day at Dollywood.  She felt that the kids don't really need anything and it would be a lot of fun for all of us to spend a few days together especially since Daniel and his family would be leaving for 3 years in the summer of 2014.

Jason and I decided to leave the day after Christmas and drive over half way and stay in a hotel and then just have a couple of hours to drive the next day through the scenic Smoky Mountains.  Let me just say it was pretty cold on our way - which was a nice change.

As we drove through the Smokies, we were quite surprised to find snow.  The boys were very excited since this was their first time seeing it.  Of course we had to stop and let them "play" in it.

What is the very first thing that boys do in snow - pick it up and throw it.  Amazing since they have never even seen it, but knew exactly what to do.

Stop #2

The boys were so excited to spend some time with their cousins for a few days.

One of Trevor's favorite things to do was run down the hill.

What a fun filled 4 days ahead of us.
