Popo turns 86

A couple of weeks ago, Popo turned 86.  Trevor was so excited to celebrate a birthday.  He loves singing Happy Birthday and will turn anything into a birthday cake.  My mom decided to cook dinner for all of us to celebrate Popo's birthday and I tried a new cake recipe.  I didn't go all out and decorate it, but it was the thought that counted.  This recipe got great reviews from everyone so I think's it a keeper.

The sad thing was that Popo wasn't feeling so great so he couldn't even join us for his birthday dinner, but Trevor really enjoyed his cake.
