We had plans to leave on the 27th but after looking at the rainy weather we decided to leave a day later. Our first stop was Callaway Gardens with the main purpose to see the Festival of Lights. We have always heard so much about it so it was time to check it out.
We checked into our hotel which was a 2 bedroom/2 bath cabin with a fireplace. The funny thing is that it wasn't that cold, but we really wanted a fire so we cranked down the air and made it really cold inside just so we could have a fire.
We headed out to the trolley to see the Festival of Lights.
The lights were pretty cool and they had A LOT of them - not a lot of pictures because of course the camera doesn't really show pretty lights when you are moving.

After the trolley tour we watched the Christmas story come to life in lights. I was very thankful that places don't forget the true meaning of Christmas and aren't afraid of what others might say.
