Last baseball game

Thursday, May 17 was Brody's last baseball game.  It was a bitter sweet time.  A few of us parent/coaches got to the point we were ready for the season to end.  We had fun and all but we were glad to be done.  I was thankful that Brody didn't have too many breakdowns this year - definite improvement.  He never struck out - YEAH and was a solid hitter!!  He improved on his catching throughout the year.

He mostly played pitcher, but for the last game Coach Keith switched things up so he played 1st base.  He was so excited.

Here is what Kelly and I had to try and control all season - 10 5 and 6 year olds.

 We always had bleachers full of fans.

 We didn't win our last game, but they had a blast.

Coach Keith told them they could rush him at the end of the game and they definitely remembered it.

Brody had so much fun this past season and he is ready to play again, which I would say was a successful year.  He is always in the front yard with his glove and a ball playing catch.  However, I am glad the season is over!!
