Birthday celebration - summer style

Brody's buddy, Bradyn, (which is actually what Brody calls him - his buddy because boys are buddies and girls are friends).  Anyway, last weekend we celebrated Bradyn's birthday with a cool water slide for both kids and a few adults even went down it.

As we drove it, Brody saw the water slide and he thought it was pretty cool and was quite excited.  He was immediately on the slide without even a blink.  For several hours they switched between the big slide and the pool.  Nothing like a few 4 and 5 year old's running around having a blast in the water.

Trevor wasn't so sure about the slide but leave it to Mr. John to get him to go on it.  It seems like those 2 are pretty good buddies.  He only went down it once and otherwise he just enjoyed climbing in and out of the pool at the bottom of the slide.

Brody knew exactly what he wanted to get Bradyn - a light saber just like he has but in blue.  Brody has it all planned out that they could play with each other with their light sabers.

Needless to say, the boys were pretty exhausted after a few hours of being in the sun - which was quite hot that day, so they took pretty good naps that day.
