We woke up Friday morning and headed to the slopes - of course after taking a LONG time of getting all 4 of us dressed and ready and celebrating Valentine's Day.
Brody and Trevor had ski school from 8-4 and they were pretty excited even though I'm not sure they knew exactly what it was all about, but they looked like they did.
We dropped them off for ski school, which they were in different groups and off they went. Aren't they so cute? We could easily spot Trevor with his green and bright colored ski suit.
Jason and I watched for a few minutes and then we were off to take advantage of our 8 hours of kid free skiing and beautiful weather.
Every now and then when we came to the top of the mountain we would try and find the boys and see how they were doing. They both seemed to be enjoying their day.
Brody seemed to have lots of fun and was really grasping it, but of course wasn't much of a daredevil. Trevor was having a little bit of a melt down once we picked him up due to a little exhaustion but he said he had lots of fun. Snowshoe Mountain closes at 4:00 so when we picked them up we headed back to Silvercreek on the trolley to grab some food and rest for a bit.
After a little rest we headed out to try out some night skiing at Silvercreek. This was the first time the boys would be skiing without an instructor. We found an easy slope but as soon as we got started Trevor wanted to be done. However, there was no turning back and he had to ski to the bottom to catch the chair lift to get back to the hotel. He headed back to the room while we continued skiing.
We had 2 tired boys on our hands that night and fell asleep pretty easily.
