Progress has started!

Last week we had a HUGE giant hole in our backyard where they had to move our septic tank over 10 feet. This was a surprise setback that we encountered when starting this addition. Our addition was going to be right on top of the current position of the septic tank so of course it had to be moved. Thank goodness we didn't have to get a new one which would be an extra $1200 or so.

Brody was so excited to see the tractor and dump truck at our house. He told us all about it when we got home from work. Jessica, our babysitter, took him outside so he could see the dump truck up close. It's amazing how boys are just drawn to big tractors. I'm sure he will be spending a lot of time staring out the window as the project progresses.

Our back patio is now gone. Brody wasn't too happy that it was gone but he is pretty excited about his new playroom coming.

We are hoping to have the foundation started this week which is very exciting.
