Things I don't want to forget

I have a tendency to forget a lot of things - mostly the details of stuff. I really get it honestly my mom has the same issue. This is one of the reasons I started this blog - I didn't want to forget all the little things and sayings that my boys say or do.

Lately, Brody has become a REAL chatter box especially in the vehicle. He has started telling us numbers on road signs. It may not just be 295 but it may be 45, 55, 60. This may seem all great at first and that he's such an observant child but just think about it - you are driving down the road in a hurry of course because I always seem to be running late and your 3 year old yells out "Mom we're on 45". And I realize that this is not the road we are on but it's the speed limit and I look down and I'm going 60. Guess my toddler will try and keep me honest. However, he occasionally will say "Go fast mommy, pass that car, Go fast like a race car". This makes me very happy but I do try to teach him that we shouldn't go too fast and that it's breaking the law, but it does make me smile just hearing him say these things.

Brody is also our little performer. He loves to get on our "stage" and sing for us. Here he is with his creative microphone stand performing.

Just a cute picture of Trevor showing off his big eyes.

  1. The boys are so cute! I love that Brody is the car monitor. That's too funny. Mercy, I hope Allie doesn't catch on to that anytime soon.
